Best Vertical Jump Program – Don\’t Make These 3 Mistakes When Choosing

Choosing the best vertical jump program can be kind of a pain, primarily because there are so many out there you just can\’t figure out which is best. When I set out to find a program that would help my increase my vertical leap, I found that are 3 mistakes you generally must avoid:

1. Coaching fees – in search of the best vertical jump program, watch out for the coaching fees. The coaching in and of itself is not really the issue. The primary concern is how much they charge for the coaching and if they are upfront about the fees.

For example, I found that some vertical jump programs charged between $10-$20 per month for coaching. But some of the others charged well over $150 per month! A huge disparity to say the least. And oftentimes, the fees for this \”coaching\” were buried somewhere in the fine print, so you didn\’t even know you were paying for it until you got your credit card statement.

2. The author – be wary of who actually authored the product you are buying. You want to make sure you check their background and credentials. Do they even know what they are talking about? Have the worked with professional athletes?

In my research, I was shocked to learn that some of the products that claim to be the best vertical jump program were actually authored by a marketing company! I\’m not sure about you, but I don\’t want to learn how to jump higher from a marketing company!

3. Customization – one area of concern for me when I was choosing the best vertical jump program was if it would be custom to my current jumping abilities and my body type. I soon found out that most of them are designed as a one size fits all type of program. I can understand this approach, as they are trying to appeal to a broad market.

However, does it make sense that the same principles would apply to everyone trying to jump higher? Would the same training regimen apply to someone who is 5\’5\” tall vs someone who is 6\’5\” tall?

This led me to the discovery that there are actually some vertical jump programs that are software based that implement training programs around your specific needs and abilities. And the surprising thing was that these software programs do not cost any more than the one size fits all products.

Bottom line – figure out what you want to accomplish before purchasing what you believe to be the best vertical jump program. Keep in mind the mistakes I made and you can\’t go wrong.
